My mother is the best because she is always there for me when I need her. I can call her for advice, for a recipe, or even just because and she is always there. I would really like to win this contest so that she could enjoy a nice spa day, because she deserves it!

My mom is the best because she is my best friend. We talk and hang out like friends, but when I need a mother she is there too. She has taught me how to cook, and dance, but most of all she has taught me how to be a good friend.

I recently read an enlightening article on my Mom regarding her work as an environmentalist. My mom recognized that she was bringing her children into a world full of chemicals and pollution. She wanted to make a difference partly to protect us children. Since then, she started an environmental library for kids, students, teachers and everyone else who's interested in 1990 called “Project Eco School,” which has transformed into the Center for Environmental Education in Antioch, New Hampshire.
